The Classical Analysis group is mainly interested in Orthogonal Polynomials, Special Functions, Approximation Theory and Riemann-Hilbert problems, whereas the Functional Analysis group focusses its attention on von Neumann algebras, measurable group theory, ergodic theory and quantum groups.
