Francqui chair for Alain Valette
On June 14, 2010, the Academic Council awarded a Francqui chair (2010-2011) to Alain Valette, University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Paul Igodt and Stefaan Vaes have submitted this application. We wish to congratulate them on their work.
For more information about Alain Valette you can go to http://www3.unine.ch/members/alain.valette. He will provide a series of lessons in 2010-2011 (with an inaugural lecture) in which master students Mathematics and doctoral students can follow and honor. We will probably link an existing course to this serie of lessons.
