Members of
the Section teach a large variety of probability and
statistics courses (from introductory to advanced level),
organized by different faculties of the university. In
particular, they teach courses in the Master of
Statistics program and in the
Master of Financial and Actuarial Engineering.
The Section is also involved in
consultancy projects, giving its members the opportunity to
apply their expertises in various areas of applications, and
to be exposed to interesting and often challenging problems
that require statistical analysis and/or use of probabilistic
methods.
The Section offers a dynamic, stimulating and
international research environment.
